[About Haldir]

Haldir, named after an elf of Lord of The Rings -stories, was born in Badajoz (Spain) in good care of his breeder Leonor Soriano "TANGOTARA" kennel. After the litter was born I soon noticed this boy and get interested in him. He reminded me about his beautiful granfather "CH Missing On The Pack della Farha" who surely is one of my favourite siberians ever. It didn't take long time I started to think if it would be possible to take two puppies from this litter; I wanted female but I also wanted this male. After some arrangements I was happy to send e-mail to my friend Leonor and ask if I could have this dog too. Few persons recommand me to take beautiful grey male but I am really happy I kept my mind and followed my instincts; this male is AWESOME!

Young Haldir

He is beautiful, he is the most pleasing siberian I have ever met! He is calm, intelligent, quiet, social, everything I like siberian husky to be. He has started training and he is VERY promising in harness. He is running in wheels with Indiana and these "powerbrothers" are perfect add to my sledteam. Haldir takes working seriously and there is no way I would leave him home when going training!

Haldir has entered dogshows 3 times now. He has always got EXC and he has 2 CAC's. At first time he went BOS & CAC in junior class, under finnish judge Marja Talvitie. Second time he was one of the only 4 males (totally 29 siberians) who got EXC from argentinan judge Gerardo Paolucci and at third time he got his second CAC from judge Philip John, India. For sure more will follow...

All thanks goes to my dear friend Leonor who trusted this gorgeous dog to me. Thank You for thousand times !!!

" Nice head. Small ears. Good expression. Nice good neck and topline. Short back. Good angulations and moves well "

Own comment: It went better than expected! Haldir's behavious was excellent, we went to the show at 8.00am and still at 1.00pm he had strenght to present himself with great carriage. We're satisfied!

EXC 2nd, 4th best male

" This dog has right size but it is a bit square. Has nice head, ears (?) and expression. I'd like more neck but also is excellent. Excellent movement from front, rear & sidemovement."

Own comment: Have you seen Siberian loosing coat so strongly that you don't dare even to wash him? Yep, that's how Haldir entered this show. Otherwise he was in nice condition and I'm satisfied with the result.

" Excellent type, strong male with beautiful head, little scarce front angulations, good rear angulations. Beautiful tail, excellent coat, could move with more lenght in step"

Own comment: It went better than I expected. Show was very nice but need to mention one negative point: in this show Siberians were judged outside, so the ground was slippery and you could see it when dogs were moving. Haldir was in good winter coat and was behaving very well to be first-timer in showring.
