Utah]
Utah
is my first siberian husky. She came to
me from southern Finland, from
"Arctic
Soul"
kennel owned by Riitta Kesaniemi & Mari
Pajaskoski. She was chosen as the most calm puppy for her litter, and she
has shown how to relax further too... She is always calm, silent and very
easy to take care. She is famous for her huge yawns. I have never seen
such a quiet siberian as she is. Best part in her nature is her self
confidence and fearless nature. You may explode a dynamite right behind
her ears; she would just turn her back, give a big yawn and get nice
afternoon naps. Utah is not only this, she is also very kind and social
female. She is the leader of my pack, everyone respects her although she
never does anything special to show that she's the queen of the pack.
Utah
don't know that Siberians are made to be sleddogs. She is siberian that
suits better as a spoiled housedog, but sometimes she has days when she
works just fine. Utah, when harnessed, is always on lead. Her obedience is
excellent and she knows all the usual commands. Although she has legs to
run, she doesn't like high speed, she likes more to have calm sledding
trip on a very cold winter day. Going away from home she runs like fire
under the tail, but coming back she doesn't wish to hurry. She likes to
enjoy the view and see if there would be squirrels or rabbits near the
road... This is very shame because she is the dog I can really trust in
everything.
Utah
hasn't been in many shows, because she is over highlimit (maximum to
females is 56cm). This is kind of shame too, because she is excellent
performer. She just stands still for long time like statue and she don't
mind about other competitors. That's why we visit match show's with her,
there nobody minds about her height.
Although
she is not a best in show -winner or great sleddog, she has teached
me
a lot about Siberians. Utah is "once in a lifetime" dog that no one can
ever replace. Big THANK YOU to Utah's breeders for the best dog in the
world! For sure Utah will never be for sale.
