Winter Chaos kennel is located in the middle of Finland, near by city of Kuopio. Our dogs are living both out- and inside the house. At daytime they mostly spend their time at our large fenced yard, 1800 square meters, which includes natural ground, trees and bushes. Dogs have opportunity to dig, run and play with each other, whenever they want. All dogs are living as a harmonious pack, we only seprate them if it's really needed, f.ex. females are in season.

I, the owner, musher and handler of the dogs, fell in love with this breed for a long time ago. Because of different matters, I didn't get my first Siberian Husky until year 2003; now there are 5 Siberians in my own pack. Perhaps one day we will have another addition to our team... But, I don't wish to keep too many dogs for many reasons; I like to keep a pack that I can take anywhere with me, walk them in a leash all together and have enough specific time to every member. Most of their time these dogs are my personal lap dogs, my best companions, not show objects or a hobby; they are more like a lifestyle!

I never sell my adult dogs for a reason that they are not breeding/show/sledding quality. Dogs are not toys to me, that I can give away when I don't "need" them anymore. I neither never sell veterans to new homes or any adults of my own pack. Sometimes there can be adult dogs, returned to breeder or imported dogs looking for a co-own home; these dogs will either stay in my pack or we will find them forever homes as soon as possible. I will never support "dog recyckling" which seems to be popular among many ambitious breeders.

Few words about our breeding

▪ Health Eye, hip, elbow and knee examinations.

▪ Temperament by breedstandard. Social, alert, self-confident, primitive. Eager to work, manageable.

▪ Structure by breedstandard (NO showfashion). Nothing exaggerated, healthy, suitable to sleddog. Strong and arctic. Medium sized, effortless movements with reach and power.

▪ Bloodlines What we prefer is to be same as our criterions for breeding dogs. Both "working"- and "show"lines.

▪ Puppies never make puppies. Breeding dogs are at least 2 years old, both males and females. If you are interested in our males, contact us and ask more. We don't give our males to females that don't fill our criterions. We don't make breedings where we are not ready to keep a puppy ourselves.
